Terms and Conditions for Diverse Dogs Pty Ltd

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you (“Client,” “You,” or “Your”) and Diverse Dogs Pty Ltd (“Diverse Dogs,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) governing your use of our services. By booking an appointment, participating in a training session, accessing our services, or purchasing online courses and content, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must refrain from using our services.
Services Provided 1.1 Diverse Dogs offers private dog training and coaching services, group dog training classes and workshops, as well as online courses and content (“Services”).
Appointment Cancellation Policy 2.1 Private Dog Training and Coaching Appointments 2.1.1 Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel or reschedule a private dog training or coaching appointment, you must provide a minimum notice of 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total appointment cost. 2.1.2 Cancellation by Diverse Dogs: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a private dog training or coaching appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather or trainer unavailability. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative appointment time or a refund of any prepaid fees.
2.2 Group Dog Training Classes and Workshops 2.2.1 Cancellation by Client: If you need to cancel your enrollment in a group dog training class or workshop, you must provide a minimum notice of 72 hours prior to the scheduled start date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the start date will not be eligible for a refund. Diverse Dogs Pty Ltd may agree to provide you with a refund within this 72 hour period at their discretion in circumstances where your position in the group class or workshop is able to to be filled by another suitable participant prior to the starting date of the course or workshop or the first scheduled session for a block of group training that you have purchased. 2.2.2 Cancellation by Diverse Dogs: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a group dog training class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will provide you with a full refund of any prepaid fees or offer an alternative class or workshop.
- Online Courses and Content 3.1 Purchase and Access: You may purchase online courses and content provided by Diverse Dogs through our website or other designated platforms. Upon completion of your purchase, you will be granted access to the online course or content for the specified duration, as outlined in the course description.
3.2 Refunds and Cancellations: Refunds for online courses and content will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Requests for refunds must be submitted within 14 days from the date of purchase, accompanied by a valid reason for the refund. We reserve the right to deny refund requests in instances where substantial course progress has been made.
Payment Terms 4.1 Fees: The fees for our Services, including private dog training, coaching, group classes, workshops, and online courses, are set forth on our website or as otherwise agreed upon between you and Diverse Dogs. Payment for Services must be made in full at the time of booking, purchase, or prior to the scheduled appointment or course access.
Limitation of Liability 5.1 To the extent permitted by law, Diverse Dogs Pty Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and trainers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our Services, including but not limited to, injuries to persons or dogs, damage to property, or loss of profits. 5.2 Diverse Dogs shall not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from any actions or behaviors of your dog during or after training sessions or while using our online courses and content. 5.3 Diverse Dogs cannot guarantee any specific outcomes or results from the use of our Services, including the effectiveness of training methods or the results achieved through our online courses and content. The success of the training and behaviour improvement depends on various factors, including the individual characteristics of dogs and the ability, effort and consistency of the dog owner to apply the training advice.
Intellectual Property 6.1 All materials, including but not limited to, training manuals, guides, videos, online course content, and any other proprietary information provided by Diverse Dogs during the training sessions or through online courses, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of such materials without our prior written consent.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction 7.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
Amendments 8.1 We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on our website or notifying you via email or other means of communication. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for any updates or changes. Your continued use of our Services after the posting of any modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Photography and Publicity: I grant Diverse Dogs the right to use photographs, videos, or other media taken of myself and my dog during training activities for promotional purposes without any further compensation or consent
- Responsibility for Dog’s Care and Welfare: I am solely responsible for the care and welfare of my dog whilst engaging with Diverse Dogs Pty Ltd in any capacity. I will ensure that my dog is in good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, worming and free from contagious diseases.
